We are interested in a wide variety of offers of time and expertise that may support the School.  

Your experience is invaluable to us if we can share it amongst the next generation of King’s School students. There are a number of ways you can do this.

Volunteering Your Time

In the evening, at weekends and during the holidays there are always small works and projects with which we need help. Whether your skill and expertise is as a tiler, a roofing contractor or as a plumber, we can make real use of any expertise you are prepared to share with us on a voluntary basis.

If you would like to volunteer your time to help with one of these many small projects, please email us at admin@kings.peterborough.sch.uk with your Name, Contact Number, Email Address and your area of expertise, and a member of the Premises team will contact you to discuss your availability and your particular contribution to helping us keep The King’s School in excellent working order.

Sharing Your Experience

One of the wonderful things about the young people at The King’s School is that, with the right support and work experience, they will go on to achieve great things in their professional lives. The School is committed to helping our students gain high quality work experience as part of their wider education and preparation for life.

We are proud of the fact that our students are independent and creative thinkers, good communicators and will become very positive contributors in all sorts of working contexts. As young people taught in a faith school environment, they have been educated in a value system which expects them to think of others before themselves, which they do with genuine enthusiasm and generosity of spirit.

In helping our students to make good choices and decisions about their future careers, we would like them to have the opportunity to have high quality work experience opportunities where their skills and knowledge are challenged and developed in the workplace.
